Why blackouts should not be taken lightly : It could be Syncope

Feeling fait or dizzy? Doctors suggest to not take it casually. If you feel unsteady with blackouts, it could be a lot worse than exhaustion. It is important to understand the term Syncope. It is caused by a temporary drop in the amount of blood that flows to the brain and later the person is able to continue his or her daily tasks normally. But syncope needs to be taken seriously.

The sudden drop in the amount of blood flow leads to extremely low blood pressure. In such a situation the brain does not receive optimum amount of blood. Due to the sudden feeling of unconsciousness, people usually call it a heart attack. But syncope is a completely different condition.
